March 16, 2023

Yasmin and Dell had a beautiful fall wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana at a private family farm! They could not have had a more perfect day – the leaves were at peak colors, the temperature was perfect, and their closest friends and family came together to celebrate their love. Hosting a wedding at private residences allows for so much significance and customization, and the Kaitlin Mendoza Photography associate team did a fantastic job capturing the details of Yasmin and Dell’s fall wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana!

Yasmin and Dell met at Indiana University!

Over 8 years before their engagement, Yasmin and Dell met at Indiana University! They met through Yasmin’s older brother, and their many years together have truly made for a great foundation. Yasmin had a hefty dream of being a lawyer, and Dell was by her side through those rigorous 3 years of law school and long months studying for the bar exam. What really helped them get through the final months was a big “post-bar” trip to celebrate Yasmin being done with law school. Once she was done with her exam, they rented a car, drove through National Parks like the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Vegas Yosemite, and so many more stops to celebrate the conclusion of this exciting, yet stressful chapter. One early morning in the Grand Canyon, they walked up to the rim at sunrise, and Dell got down on one knee and proposed to Yasmin!

Yasmin and Dell’s fall wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana was at Dell’s family farm!

Dell, and even his mom, grew up at the family farm where Yasmin and Dell tied the knot! By having it at his family’s home, they were able to fully customize their day and make it perfect for them and their needs – one huge perk of having a private residence wedding. Their ceremony was in front of the vast trees, which were beautiful shades of orange! Their ceremony had several Jewish traditions, and felt so perfect for them. They had a tented cocktail hour and reception, which is enjoyable in all weather, but luckily their day was gorgeous to spend plenty of time taking portraits around the property. Yasmin and Dell had been collecting vintage colored glass goblets to serve as both cocktail glasses and party favors for their guests, and they made the most perfect decor for the evening! Their closest friends and family then danced the night away under the string lights of the tent.

Congrats Yasmin and Dell on the start of your next chapter! Thank you for trusting Kaitlin Mendoza Photography associate team to capture your intimate day.
