Start by filling out the contact form on my website with your desired date (or due date) and any other details that help me get to know your family. Within 48 hours, I’ll be in touch with availability, investment, and everything you need to know to move forward.

I’ll send over a booking link to sign your contract and pay your deposit. Once that’s complete, your date is officially secured on my calendar. If booking a newborn session, we will schedule your actual newborn session date as soon as baby is born.

The Process
Milestone sessions are a mix of a family session with more time spent on portraits of your baby, and if their turning one- a cake smash at the end. Clients often bring props such as a small smash cake, a balloon, favorite stuffy's or anything else sentimental. Milestone sessions are the perfect way to get both updated family photos as well as portraits of your little one to remember them at this age.
what should i expect for a milestone session?
Yes! After booking, you'll complete a short questionnaire so I can suggest locations that match your vision - from wide-open fields to cozy settings. As a seasoned Indianapolis family photographer, I have a several coveted spots that are not crowded with beautiful natural light.
Do you suggest locations?
I offer a complimentary styling service to make choosing outfits simple and fun. You'll get personalized suggestions (plus links to shop if needed!) based on your family’s sizes and your favorite color schemes. You’ll also have access to my client closet, stocked with a variety of dresses ready for you — steamed and session-ready.
What should we wear?
Absolutely! Dogs are family, too. If it’s a warm day, I recommend having someone bring your dog at the beginning or end of the session so you can enjoy your time without extra distractions.
Can we bring our dog to the session?
It’s best to book 2–3 months in advance, especially in the spring and fall when dates fill up quickly. Once you book, we’ll stay flexible and finalize the best date as your schedule takes shape.
