a little more about me

My photography journey began documenting wedding days when we lived in Charleston, South Carolina where everywhere you would look was a beautiful backdrop. I fell in love with capturing love stories on historic plantations and 100+ old estates. I love that I can now bring the same passion for timeless images back to the Midwest where I grew up.

Since having children a few years ago, I've fallen in love with lifestyle newborn and family photography and have recently transitioned full time to photographing the seasons of motherhood. I find inspiration for my work through old photos and magazines, as well as getting to know your family and home to create truly unique, joyful and timeless heirloom images.

When I'm not playing the role of an Indianapolis family and newborn photographer, I stay home with my two babies, and treasure family time and date nights with my husband of 6 years. Our dogs Luna and Milo often join us on outings as well!  A perfect weekend at home starts with a morning long run on the Monon, brunch at Cafe Patachou, taking my kids to one of our favorite parks, and a date night with glass or two of red at Anthony's. When I have a chance to get out by myself sans kids, you can find me taking my time browsing at the Keystone mall (ok, mainly Madewell and Evereve) or thrifting at an antique mall for one of a kind pieces.
