Start by filling out the contact form on my website with your due date and any other details that help me get to know your family. Within 48 hours, I’ll be in touch with availability, pricing, and everything you need to know to move forward.
Reach out
I’ll send over a booking link to sign your contract and pay your deposit. Once that’s complete, your due date is officially secured on my calendar. We will schedule your actual newborn session date as soon as baby is born and typically target our session date within 2 weeks after birth. If you desire a later session date, please let me know.
Save your spot
You’ll fill out a quick questionnaire so I can get a feel for your family and vision. From there, I’ll help you decide on whether an in-home session or studio is a better fit, and then we will curate outfit options so you don’t have to overthink a thing.
Plan your session
I’ll guide you through the entire session while keeping things relaxed and natural. My sessions are baby led, so if baby needs to be fed or changed, we make time for that. Newborn sessions typically last about 2 hours. No pressure, no perfect behavior from your other kids required. Just show up, love on your people, and I’ll take care of the rest.
Session Day
Your gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks. From there, you’ll download your gallery and choose your favorites that you want to print. If you added an album onto your session, I’ll design a beautiful, high-end album for you to keep, flip through on your coffee table often to preserve and reminisce on how little they once were.
Your images, brought to life
Absolutely! I will take time to wrap your baby for solo portraits on my white backdrop, as well as several with the rest of the family. Yes, you’re dog too! Older siblings are more than welcome. If you’re nervous about your toddler participating in our session, don’t. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to encourage participation to get all of the cute shots you’ve dreamed of.
Does newborn photography include photos of both baby and family members?
During our planning call, we will discuss color palette and I will offer wardrobe assistance to make choosing outfits simple. You'll get personalized suggestions (plus links to shop if needed!) based on the colors in the nursery and your home’s color scheme, if it’s an in-home session. You’ll also have access to my client closet, so if you choose any of these, they will be steamed and ready on the day of the session.
What should we wear?
I recommend reaching out as you begin your second trimester. This ensures your due date is reserved on my calendar before spots fill up. If you also booked a maternity session, we’ll schedule this session for when you're around 28–32 weeks pregnant.

When will we get our newborn photos back?
No worries! We won’t schedule the date of the newborn session until after baby is born. Within a couple of days, you’ll simply let me know and we’ll find a date on the calendar within the next 2 weeks. I find 2 weeks after birth is ideal, for both you to settle in at home and for baby to still be extra sleepy for photos. Please note, I only photograph on set weekday mornings when I have childcare.
I’m not sure when I should schedule newborn photography since I’m not sure when I will have the baby?
That’s ok! The studio is a great neutral option and is included in your session fee. The studio I currently use is located downtown Indianapolis, and has convenient and free on-site parking for easy loading/ unloading. In addition to the furniture at the studio, I have a wicker bassinet and Moses baskets as well.
What if I don’t have a nursery, or I don’t want photos in our home?
50%. The remaining balance can be paid at any increment, as long as the session is paid in full by the session date.

Yes, I offer a Bump to Baby Collection that bundles a maternity and newborn session for a small discount. I also offer The Baby Membership includes a newborn session plus either a maternity and a milestone session, or two milestone sessions during baby's first year. The Baby Memberships is the most popular collection since it offers the most savings and more flexibility with payments.
