A couple as classy as the location of their engagement photos? Engagement sessions rarely get better than this in Indiana, and I’m so excited to share Marie and Wil’s engagement photos at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis!
Marie and Will met on Hinge, a modern dating app during the thick of the pandemic!
During the first few weeks that they were texting, they realized that their families actually had known each other since they were young! Wil’s family has a construction business, and Marie’s dad had actually worked with them in the past! When the time came for them to go out on their very first date, they realized that they actually had several more mutual connections! It was an instant connection that made them feel like they had known each other for years!
Since then, Wil has taken in Marie’s sweet 80 pound lab and they spend as much time together as they can! They both work hard in their careers, Wil as a construction manager for the family business, and Marie a surgical nurse! When they aren’t working, they love to recharge with a little Netflix and chill and have most recently been into the Yellowstone series (me too, guys, me too!)
When Wil proposed to Marie, they were leaving the house to grab dinner with some friends.
When Wil got down on one knee and proposed to Marie in the kitchen! Naturally, Marie wanted to tell everyone right away, but Wil assured her that they would drive around to tell everyone and celebrate! They first stopped by his parents home and to Marie’s surprise the house was filled with all of their closest friends and family! It was quite a night to remember and very fitting for a couple that is so easy going and family oriented!

Laurel Hall is one of the most gorgeous wedding venues in Indiana, and for couples like Marie and Wil who were looking for a timeless location for their engagement photos, it’s the perfect fit! From the gorgeous staircase, the Solarium with it’s massive fireplace and black and white tiled flooring, and of course the outside of the historic mansion as a gorgeous castle-like backdrop, it’s a jaw dropping location! For their engagement photos at Laurel Hall, they chose one dressy outfit and one casual outfit, and opted for a neutral and light blue color scheme! It was obvious that they read the engagement tips on my wedding guide, and looked amazing!
