Every once in a while, I step outside my usual rhythm of newborn and family photography to photograph something a little different—and it’s always such a fun, creative change of pace. While I don’t typically advertise myself as an Indianapolis brand photographer, I’m always happy to help friends and colleagues when they need fresh images for their business.
That’s exactly how these branding photos with Chloe from Balloon Bar Indy came to be.
Chloe and I have worked on several events together over the years, and if you’ve ever seen her work, you know she is incredibly talented. Her balloon installations bring so much color, creativity, and personality to any celebration. From birthday parties to baby showers and other special events, her designs instantly transform a space. When she reached out about updating photos for her website and social media, I was excited to collaborate.
Working with an Brand Photographer in Indianapolis
Even though brand sessions aren’t my typical offering, the same storytelling approach I use for families translates beautifully to business imagery. As an Indianapolis brand photographer, my goal was to capture Chloe’s personality along with the artistry of her work. We focused on photographing both Chloe herself and some of her newest balloon installations so potential clients could see the range of what she offers. Branding photos are so important for small businesses—they help create connection, build trust, and show the heart behind the brand. Chloe’s vibrant balloon displays made the perfect backdrop. The colors, textures, and playful designs added so much energy to the images. It was easy to photograph something so visually fun!
Celebrating Creative Small Businesses
One of my favorite parts of this session was simply getting to celebrate another creative small business owner. As entrepreneurs, we pour so much love into what we do, and having images that truly represent our brand makes such a difference. This session was also extra memorable because we squeezed it in just a few days before I welcomed my third baby! It felt like the perfect creative project to wrap up before entering that sweet newborn bubble again.
