Lauren and Justin’s wedding day was nothing short of magical, and it all started with a refreshing twist – a morning wedding at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion. Bucking the trend of afternoon and evening nuptials, they opted for a ceremony that began at 11:30 am!
Let’s Rewind a Bit First
Their journey began in college when they met at the Crazy Horse in Bloomington, Indiana, back in 2018. They dated for a year but eventually went their separate ways after college. However, fate had other plans, and they reconnected six to eight months later. In March of 2022, during a celebratory dinner at Johnny’s Restaurant in Cleveland, Justin proposed to Lauren before they even had a chance to order their meal.
Embracing the Morning Vibes
Lauren, a natural morning person, set the tone for the day by waking up at 5 am to start her hair and makeup. She understood the importance of getting ready comfortably without the rush, so she hired a team of talented hair and makeup vendors to ensure that she and her bridesmaids looked flawless and didn’t have to start any earlier than necessary. It was a well-executed plan that left everyone looking stunning and relaxed.
The Beauty Team
Lauren, being a hair enthusiast, hired the best in the local hair business – Laura Snyder and Paige Grant. Their expertise shone through as they created beautiful bridal looks that perfectly complemented the radiant bride and her girls. Lauren also went above and beyond to host her and her bridesmaids overnight at Chatham Hills Guest House after their rehearsal dinner there. It added to the convenience and ease of the entire morning, as well as a gorgeous backdrop with plenty of natural light for getting ready photos.
The Chapel Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the quaint chapel at Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana, adorned with breathtaking aisle florals by Blue Blossoms. The vibrant floral arrangements provided a stunning backdrop for family photos as well as a few bride and groom’s portraits. It was a scene straight out of a fairytale and perfectly elevated their ceremony space.
A Morning Wedding to Remember at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion
Lauren and Justin’s decision to have a morning wedding was truly unique and reflected their desire to do things their way. After the ceremony, they continued their celebration with a twist – a private dinner at the renowned Anthony’s Steakhouse, just the two of them. It was a beautiful way to savor the intimate moments of their special day and make it even more special.
