I was so excited to make the trip to capture Brittany and Dustin’s Sunflower Hill Farms wedding in Augusta, Missouri! Brittany and Dustin found me through Brittany’s sister, Meghan who grew up with me in Sunday school at our childhood church. You may remember their fall engagement shoot with their dog, Minnie, at Forest Park in St. Louis! Brittany and Dustin had another perfect fall day for their wedding day too, and I’m excited to showcase this lovely couple and a new venue on the blog!

Sunflower Hill Farms in August is a new wedding venue in Augusta, Missouri!

This gem of a venue is nestled among wineries and the Katy trail, which is a very popular bike trail that runs from St. Louis to Columbia! The property was filled with sunflowers and other wildflowers, and it was absolutely the perfect backdrop for all of our photos. The getting ready space, ceremony and reception was all onsite. This venue even has an option for the wedding party to stay onsite overnight in the guest house, which is such a great idea to avoid having to drive home that evening!

Below the getting ready space is the reception space, which actually is a cafe when they aren’t hosting weddings! Locals and tourists love to stop by for a bite to eat while biking through. There is even a covered outdoor pavilion, so no matter the weather, this venue hosts the perfect day! The staff was incredible to work with, and made the day stress free. Brittany and Dustin truly lucked out on the weather, and could not have had more gorgeous weather or chosen a better venue for their Sunflower Hill Farms wedding in Augusta, Missouri!

This Sunflower Hill Farms wedding day in Augusta, Missouri was complete with (you guessed it) sunflowers!

The bride Brittany actually works at a local St. Louis grocery store, Schnucks, in the floral department, so of course they created the florals for her big day! Her bouquet had sunflowers, and we made sure to get photos with sunflowers whenever possible. Her accessories complimented the venue so well – from her lace dress to her cowboy boots!

I was so excited to travel back to St. Louis to capture their special day!

Last fall I headed to my hometown of St. Louis to capture Brittany and Dustin’s engagement photos at Forest Park! We had the best fall colors for their engagement session, and it was so fun to capture this couple at a location I knew from growing up there! I was so honored Brittany’s family thought of me to capture her big day, and I was so happy to be a part of their Sunflower Hills Farms wedding in Augusta, Missouri! It’s been so lovely getting to know Brittany better, now that we’re all grown adults, and even more so to meet her man Dustin, who’s a real gentleman!
