Mira and Patrick met online during COVID, and shortly after knew they wanted to get married!
They traveled back and forth between Ohio where Patrick was working as an ER physician, and Indianapolis where Mira was completing her last year of residency. Patrick proposed one evening at Mira’s parents home, right after he asked her dad for her hand in marriage. A few days after, Mira dove head first into wedding planning and was able to plan the entire wedding in just FOUR MONTHS! Because of COVID and Patrick’s family living further away, the day before their wedding was actually the first time that both of their families had a chance to meet!
Dr. Mira and Dr. Patrick are MARRIED!!!
Their wedding day at the new and beautiful St. George Orthodox Christian Church was forecasted to be fairly rainy, but we lucked out with only a few sprinkles before the clouds parted making for a gorgeous and mild June summer day! When creating their wedding day timeline, Mira and Patrick wanted to make sure we had plenty of time for bride and groom portraits at a few of their favorite locations around Indianapolis, so we did a whole TWO HOURS of portraits!! Talk about a wedding photographers dream! We first went to the front steps of the Indianapolis Public Library downtown, and ended at Newfields to complete the classic and timeless bride and groom portraits that they wanted. I think it’s safe to say that we accomplished that, and so much more!

I’m so happy for them how everything turned out-from the jaw dropping ceremony space that was far more beautiful in person, to the heartfelt speeches from her father and two sisters that left even me tearing up, it was such a perfect wedding day! Congratulations you two- you deserve nothing but the best!
