Snow flurries, a beautiful downtown skyline and joy that radiates? It doesn’t get any sweeter than this, and I’m so happy to share Nicole and Craig’s Indianapolis canal walk engagement session on the blog!
Nicole swore she would never enter the dating app world!
However, just two weeks after she gave in to the pressure of friends telling her to join, Craig slid into her inbox on Hinge, a modern dating app! After they chatted for a few weeks on the app, they met for their first date! They went to dinner at The Eagle on Mass Avenue in Downtown Indianapolis, and then ended the night with a feisty game of trivia at The Tap nearby!
They hit it off right away, and from the beginning they could tell this could be something more. When COVID began and the world shut down, Nicole was told to work from home. Craig kindly offered for her to work from his house until “this whole COVID thing” blew over, because surely it wouldn’t last more than a few weeks! Needless to say, COVID is still going strong, and the two have been living together ever since!
During Thanksgiving week, Craig had a plan up his sleeve to bring their relationship full circle!
He reenacted their first date, but going back to The Eagle, and then they stopped by The Tap! Then they walked down the street to Monument Circle to see the Christmas lights and “coincidentally” ran into a friend of Craig’s and his wife. Secretly, Craig has planned this out and had asked them to come by so that they could have someone to capture the moment! They started socializing with their friends and once Craig found the perfect spot, he got down on one knee and asked Nicole to marry him!
Nicole and Craig’s Indianapolis canal walk engagement session was cold!
Despite the temperature being in the 20’s, with snow on the ground and some flurries, these two were troopers! It takes a special couple to want to do their engagement session in the winter, and an especially special couple to dress like it’s spring without a complaint! As I was editing their session that our associate, Abbie captured so beautifully, I especially loved the blue suit with the pink dress combination that they chose! I don’t know what it is about those two colors, but pink and blue just pair so well together!
Congratulations, Nicole and Craig!
