Between a global pandemic, moving across the country together away from family, settling into Midwest living, planning a wedding and living with three energetic pups, 2020 has been both an exciting and difficult year for Ashley and Steven. But these two have not only survived, they have thrived! These two tied the knot on November 6th at White River State Park and Guggman Haus Brewing Co, where they frequently visit on the weekends with their dogs! It was a beautiful fall day, and you can hear and see more from their special wedding day here!
If you read their wedding blog post, you already know that Ashley and Steven met on Bumble while living in California, and when Steven’s job, doing research for ALS, took him to Indianapolis, Ashley was right by his side. They’ve settled into a new life together in a new city, and if anything it has brought them closer than ever before!
Ashley and Steven’s Holliday Park engagement photos were colorful and fun!
We took their engagement photos only a month before their wedding day, just in time to get to know them before their big day, and get them more comfortable in front of the camera! Engagement photos are a great way to ease any nerves you may have about being in front of the camera. So while Ashely and Steven are naturally adorable and photogenic (with a huge height difference!) their engagement session prepared them for their wedding photos!
Ashley had asked me before their engagement session if she could bring their dogs! So we started with their ‘family photos’ with the dogs, and luckily it was cool enough outside that they could put them back in the car for the rest of their photos just the two of them!
I know things have been busy for Ashley and Steven, but I was so happy to meet them in person before their wedding day, and photograph them twice in only a month’s time!
