Brooke and Doug are officially married! Caitlyn from the Kaitlin Mendoza Photography associate team did an incredible job capturing the sweet moments of this Finley Creek Vineyards wedding. These two were so calm and relaxed during their wedding day – all they were focused on were finally marrying each other!
Brooke and Doug met on a cruise ship during a vacation Brooke took to write off dating and focus on herself!
We love how fate finds its way no matter what – and this story makes us giggle! About five years ago Brooke and Doug met on a cruise ship during a trip that Brooke took to take a hiatus from dating. When they met they had an instant connection! Doug lived in Michigan while Brooke lived in Carmel, Indiana, but these two made long distance work for a year until Doug moved to Carmel to finally be with Brooke!
Almost a year after their 4th of July proposal, Brooke and Doug tied the knot at their Finley Creek Vineyards wedding!
Last year Doug proposed on the 4th of July. It was so special – he included his parents (who drove 5 hours) and her parents to watch fireworks together. He proposed under the fireworks and as expected, Brooke shed so many happy tears. They all celebrated for hours back at the hotel deck, talking and soaking in this sweet proposal day with their two families. We can tell these two definitely have a spark!

Their wedding day was full of sweet moments, including this touching line from the father of the bride. Brooke and Doug’s Finley Creek Vineyards wedding happened to be on June 25, 2022 – exactly 13 years after the passing of Michael Jackson. Because of this and Doug being a big Michael Jackson fan, Doug busted out his best MJ moves to Billy Jean, and got the rest of the guests on the dance floor to get the party started!
