Mollie from the associate team was so happy to finally meet Abby and Kyle to take their Canal Walk engagement photos in Indianapolis, Indiana. They headed to downtown Indianapolis and caught the skyline and canal right at golden hour! The fall leaves looked just perfect in their photos, and we can’t wait for their December wedding!
Kyle proposed at Universal Studios – a place he knew Abby held close to her heart!
Abby and Kyle both worked for a baseball team in Lafayette, Indiana, and met each other while they were working as summer interns. They hit it off right away! On February 10th Kyle proposed while they were on vacation at Universal Studios in Orlando, and Kyle proposed on the bridge right in front of the Harry Potter Hogwarts castle. Not only is Universal one of their favorite spots, but Harry Potter holds a special place in Abby’s heart. Growing up, Abby’s mom worked a lot, and Abby remembers their time together reading Harry Potter the most. I love that Kyle took this into account when choosing the place to ask for her forever! They are headed off to Orlando after their December wedding, for a mini-honeymoon back at Universal Studios.

The Canal Walk is a classic and beautiful location for any engagement session, so when we heard Abby and Kyle were coming from Lafayette, Indiana, we knew this would be a good spot. We always time engagement and portrait sessions an hour or two before sunset, and at The Canal Walk we love how the golden sun reflects off of the water and high rise buildings for a little extra pop! The skyline looked beautiful on this fall evening, especially with the fall trees at just the right shades of orange and yellow!
