I was so excited to meet Lauren after a few phone calls! We could not have asked for better weather for their Fall engagement photos at Coxhall Gardens. This couple and their bubbly personalities made this session so much fun – I didn’t want it to end! Lauren and Justin brought their A-game – from their outfits, posing, and confidence! I am so excited to share their fall engagement photos at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana on the blog with you today!
Lauren and Justin are IU sweethearts!
Lauren is an IU Cox Scholar, which is an impressive (and prestigious!) scholarship program at Indiana University! While in nursing school she met Justin, and they started dating shortly after. They actually separated after graduation, but found their way back to each other! Lauren is now a nurse practitioner and takes travel positions across the country. Justin popped the question in downtown Cleveland, as they had celebratory reservations in honor of Lauren finishing grad school! Just from our short session, I could tell how much Justin supports her and cheers her on, and I was not surprised at all to read their questionnaire and learn that they both described their relationship as a team!
What made their Fall engagement photos at Coxhall Gardens absolutely perfect was their confidence and willingness to have fun!
Lauren and Justin arrived ready to roll in great outfits – if you look good, you’ll feel so good! I loved Lauren’s fall choices – she rocked a black shirt with a faux leather skirt and booties. Her other outfit was a classic white outfit that was fit for a bride to be!
I always tell my couples that if you love what you wear it’ll show in your photos, and this is the perfect example! These two were so natural with each other, and Justin was such a gentleman and was willing to do whatever and pose however we wanted in this session. Their photos truly reflect their confidence and comfort with each other! It also helped that we had just the best sunset that evening, and got to snap a few photos in front of the huge willow tree to finish off their amazing Fall engagement photos at Coxhall Gardens.
I cannot wait for their wedding next August at Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion!
I’m already counting down the days to Lauren and Justin’s Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion wedding in August 2023! The pavilion is such a classic and gorgeous choice, and I’m so excited for their midday wedding.
