I recently had the pleasure of photographing Max’s newborn session at the new home of longtime clients, Lauren and Justin, in Westfield, Indiana. This session was particularly special for me as I’ve had the privilege of capturing significant moments in Lauren and Justin’s journey, starting with their beautiful wedding last summer at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana. Since then, I’ve documented their announcement photos, Lauren’s studio maternity photos, and now, the arrival of their sweet baby boy, Max as their Westfield, Indiana newborn photographer.
Max’s in-home lifestyle newborn session was nothing short of magical.
The setting was his neutral, bright, and thoughtfully decorated golf-themed nursery. The soft hues and natural light created an inviting atmosphere, perfect for capturing the intimate and tender moments of this new family. I especially loved how the golf elements subtly reflected Justin’s passion for the sport, adding a personal touch to the nursery’s decor.

The soft green tone of Lauren’s choice perfectly complemented the serene environment of the golf themed baby boy nursery, and Lauren’s radiant smile made every shot feel warm and genuine. Despite being wide awake for most of the session, Max was incredibly cooperative.
His bright eyes and tiny expressions made for some truly precious images. We were able to capture a range of moments, from sweet family portraits to the little details that make newborn sessions so special—the way Max’s tiny hand curled around Justin’s finger, or the way he gazed up at Lauren with pure love.
I’m so thrilled with how this session turned out and honored to be part of Lauren and Justin’s continued journey as a family. Congratulations to them on their beautiful new addition, Max!
