You might remember Sondra and Dylan – if the names don’t ring a bell, you may recognize their iconic engagement photos running in front of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument! I had so much fun taking Sondra and Dylan’s engagement photos, and getting to know this couple. These two got married last summer, and because the team and myself covered so many wedding days, we are still catching up on blogging them all! I just love the photos from Sondra and Dylan’s intentional and small wedding in Indianapolis. Sondra is such a naturally gorgeous bride, and her hair is to die for!

Sondra and Dylan love living in the Holy Cross neighborhood in Downtown Indianapolis – so it’s fitting that they tied the knot right there!

They often hold hands and walk around the neighborhood in the evenings, with a drink in the other hand! So of course, Dylan actually proposed during one of their evening walks. Sondra and Dylan’s small wedding in Indianapolis was actually in a local park, the Cottage Home Community Park. It was so perfect for their relaxed personalities. The ceremony was right in front of the cutest structure, and it was such a great intimate venue for their closest friends and family. I love that the associate team captured bride and groom shots on their own front porch too!

Sondra chose the most perfect details for their small wedding in Indianapolis.

When I think of Sondra, I think of her kind personality, incredible hair, and her natural beauty! She really knew how to choose the perfect accessories. Her lace dress from Grace Loves Lace looks like it was made for her – with a cathedral length veil to match! I adored her Signature Blooms flower crown that complimented her curls so perfectly. Dylan wore a pale blue, which was such a great choice for summer! The bridesmaids wore a blush pink to complement the men in blue. These details allowed the focus to be on what really matters – the love between the two of them.

Nearly a year later, I still smile every time I see this wedding gallery. Their day reminds me of the sweetest parts of summer – they had great sunny weather, simple streamers that matched the bridal party, blooming flowers and greenery, City BBQ, ribbon twirlers, and lovely guests who just had a ball. Their day was so “them” – and their pictures and album will forever remind these two of this perfect day.
