I loved every minute of this Laurel Hall family session in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Sholtis family gathered to take photos together that will be seen and passed down for generations! It is always so special to be able to capture these rare moments when the entire family is in the same room.
When colder weather rolled in, we had to pivot from our initial plan at an outdoor location, and I immediately thought of Laurel Hall!
We were bummed when a cold front came in, and knew we had to pivot indoors since the twin baby granddaughters were coming. I immediately thought of Laurel Hall, and am so thankful for Suzanne’s trust in my recommendation! Laurel Hall has one of the most gorgeous interiors in the entire city, and the exterior and landscaping is top notch! It’s a top choice of mine for weddings, engagement sessions, and portrait sessions, especially when we forced to be indoors. For this Laurel Hall family session in Indianapolis, Indiana, we mainly stayed in my favorite room- The Solarium. This room has beautiful natural light beaming through the windows, so that no matter what time of day, we’re going to get gorgeous, naturally-lit images.
This Laurel Hall family session in Indianapolis, Indiana featured group photos with the entire family, as well as images of each couple!
We had plenty of time to capture the Sholtis Family all in one photo, as well as photograph the individual families. Couples love the individual shots, as many times they haven’t had updated professional photos outside of their wedding or newborn or family photos. One of my favorite images from this session is of Carolanne, the great grandmother, holding the twin girls in the cardigans that she knitted for them. It was such a joy to capture this sweet family!
There are so many uses for your photos from extended family sessions!
It’s so fun to see how families choose to use their beautiful photographs from family sessions. Our team works with a high quality and affordable printing company to preserve your sweet memories in the best possible way! Many families opt for canvas prints for their homes, as well as heirloom albums to flip through on coffee tables and pass down through the generations. We are always happy to help make recommendations to put your photos to use or help create great gifts.
