Julianne + Brian | Indianapolis Engagement Pictures in Fishers, Indiana

Sprawling trees, charming homes, and two adorable dogs. What could be better for Julianne and Brian’s Indianapolis engagement pictures? I was so eager to photograph at this private residence in Fishers and at Geist Reservoir because this area is a hidden gem! Julianne and Brian are such a sweet couple that fell in love so fast – because when you know, you know!

Julianne and Brian fell in love quickly! It was so sweet to hear their love story, and I love how instant their connection was.

Something good came out of 2020 for Julianne and Brian – they met and fell in love! Almost instantly Julianne and Brian knew they would be together forever. In fact, Julianne had purchased a house and intentionally didn’t fill in “his” side of the closet because she knew deep down he would move in soon! This gesture is so sweet to me – I love when couples feel complete with one another so early on. Nine months into dating Brian popped the question with a proposal that made me melt – he set up a star machine in their home and played their song as Julianne came home from work. These two are genuinely excited to make it official a few weeks after their Indianapolis engagement pictures and get married!  We can’t wait for their wedding at The Montage!

I love to ask my couples their favorite things about each other, and Julianne and Brian had some of the most thought out answers! Julianne describes Brian as the most considerate person she’s ever known, and he knows exactly how to comfort and support her in any situation. Brian loves how enthusiastic Julianne is about life, always celebrating the little moments and taking time to explore new places or points of view. They share so much – passion for movies, history, and trivia! I can’t forget to mention that they also share two sweet dogs, Gracie and Booker! They did so great in front of the camera, and were the icing on the cake for these Indianapolis engagement pictures. I love including dogs!

It was my first time photographing the charming Geist area in Fishers- what a great spot for Indianapolis engagement pictures! 

Here at KMP we have explored almost every area of Indianapolis, but this location was a new one for me! Julianne and Brian’s Fishers neighborhood had mature trees, sprawling lawns, and captivating houses. I love that their neighborhood was a beautiful backdrop for some of their photos to make it personal to them! We headed over to a nearby bridge on Geist Reservoir and photographed beautiful images along the water.  The sunset was gorgeous this evening and danced through the trees at both locations.
