Session Day
Your gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks. From there, you’ll download the gallery and choose your favorites that you want to print. If you added on an album to your session, I’ll design a beautiful, high-end album for you to keep, flip through on your coffee table often, and pass down to your children one day.

It’s best to book 2–3 months in advance, especially in the spring and fall when dates fill up quickly. Once you book, we’ll stay flexible and finalize the best date as your schedule takes shape.
Absolutely! Dogs are family, too. If it’s a warm day, I recommend having someone bring your dog at the beginning or end of the session so you can enjoy your time without extra distractions.
I offer a complimentary styling service to make choosing outfits simple and fun. You'll get personalized suggestions (plus links to shop if needed!) based on your family’s sizes and your favorite color schemes. You’ll also have access to my client closet, stocked with a variety of dresses ready for you—steamed and session-ready.
Yes! After booking, you'll complete a short questionnaire so I can suggest locations that match your vision—from wide-open fields to cozy settings. As a seasoned Indianapolis family photographer, I have a several coveted spots that are not crowded with beautiful natural light. For those wanting a more neutral look, the studio is a great fit too.
We will capture all of the basic and expected images (everyone smiling at the camera etc), but where the real magic comes in is the candid moments I'm capturing in between; the prompts that make your kids genuinely giggle and your child's hands in yours. Full sessions allow for your children to warm up to me, wiggle breaks and more variety in your gallery.

I shoot outdoor family sessions 2 hours before sunset a few weekday evenings. 1-2 weekend evenings are available, but often fill up quickly. Petite sessions are limited and are offered on certain dates and times mainly in the spring and fall. Studio sessions can be taken at any time during the day and often have more flexibility.
Yes, I love extended family sessions! It's not often you will take these photos and these are often the ones that get pass down through the generations. Depending on the number of people and family groupings you have, additional time may be required to serve you best.
Clients can expect to receive their gallery within 2-3 weeks.
Yes, the whole gallery is included in your session. While I encourage clients to print through our professional print lab for the most accurate color matching, you will have printing rights to print them wherever you wish.
Yes, I often offer motherhood petite sessions in the spring, and a few dates in the fall. These open to my email list first and fill up very quickly. These are at set locations, dates and times with set rain dates in the event we need to reschedule. Petite sessions do not include personal styling assistance like full sessions do.
Don't worry—I don't expect children to sit still, smile on command, or behave perfectly for an entire session. My sessions are interactive and designed to work with your children's personalities, not against them. I come prepared with plenty of tricks (and a session emergency kit stocked with snacks, stickers, and Band-Aids) to keep little ones engaged and happy. While sessions with young children can sometimes feel chaotic in the moment, that's often when the magic happens. In fact, one of the most common things I hear from moms after viewing their gallery is, "I can't believe you got these!"
