I mentioned during Stacy and Damon’s anniversary session that I just knew I had to be back at 100 Acres Park soon, and not even two weeks later, I sure was back for the Shaw’s family session as their Indianapolis family photographer! I just love these family photos at 100 Acres Park in Indianapolis, Indiana – this sweet family of soon to be four was such a joy to have in front of my camera.
As an Indianapolis family photographer, I loved going to a new location for these late fall family photos at 100 Acres Park!
We really lucked out for this session – it was 70 degrees and one of the last warm evenings of fall 2022. The leaves had already changed and some had fallen, and the sunset complimented the late fall colors so well! I knew that 100 Acres Park would have just the backdrop Mary Kate and Tom were envisioning, and I was so excited that the weather cooperated. As an Indianapolis family photographer, it’s always easier to photograph young children in great weather! I love the view of the Newfield’s Lilly house and lakeside images – it’s so stunning with light peeking through the fall foliage.
Big sister Elise stole the show during the Shaw’s family session!
Elise was so well behaved during our family photos at 100 Acres Park in Indianapolis, Indiana – I can just tell she is ready to make a great big sister! She was my little helper all session long, and even let me get plenty of photos of mom and dad with her help. I loved the candid photos that I got of her. As an Indianapolis family photographer and a mom myself, candid images tell the most accurate story of the season a family with littles is in. The smiles, the blank stares, the snuggles and laughs with mom and dad- these are what parents tell me they look back and treasure, and Elise was such a treat to photograph!
