I loved getting to know Erin and Dan while taking their Indianapolis engagement photos – these two are so down to earth and fun, and I knew their big day would be just the same! Their Ritz Charles wedding day in Carmel, Indiana was so *them* just like their engagement photos. Laid back, effortlessly cool, and focused on their love. I am so happy these two have officially tied the knot, and I can’t wait to finally share more of their day!
This Ritz Charles wedding day started at the Hotel Carmichael, where the wedding party got ready!
Hotel Carmichael is one of my favorite boutique hotels here in Carmel. Not only does it have an awesome restaurant, music venue, and bar, but it has the most beautiful rooms that serve as a beautiful getting ready space! Both Erin and Daniel got ready there, and we had so much fun getting to hangout with the bridal party while getting ready. Another nice thing about Hotel Carmichael is that it’s just steps away from The Palladium, where Erin and Dan had their first look! This intimate and tearful first look was such a special and quiet moment at the beginning of their big day. After the first look we headed to the Ritz Charles for more portraits of the bride and groom, and their energetic wedding party of course!
Erin and Dan’s outdoor Ritz Charles wedding ceremony was one to remember!
Their ceremony was so chic – the beautiful greenery was the perfect backdrop, and an arch of white roses and baby’s breath made a stunning altar.The outdoor ceremony was officiated by Erin’s sister, who did an incredible job creating a light-hearted and special ceremony! Erin and Dan chose to create a painting as part of their ceremony – a simple heart painted together to symbolize them becoming one. It was such a special and unique moment with Erin and Dan’s friends and family! I love that Ritz Charles weddings have so many options for ceremony venues that match the couple’s styles – this al fresco ceremony was definitely their style, and complemented Erin’s flowy and elegant dress so well.

We loved getting to know both sides of the bridal party – we could tell at Hotel Carmichael that we were in for a fun day. Some of my favorite photos of the party were naturally posed with the group laughing, thanks to the boys! We even got photos of the groomsmen smoking cigars with their newly-married best friend. They did a great job bringing the energy to the cocktail hour and reception to bring an extra spark to their day!

From the minute I met Erin and Dan, I knew they cared so much about each other, and were just so excited to get married. These two survived long distance, and finally have started their next chapter!
