This wedding was so special for me to be a part of! Haley has been helping out Kaitlin Mendoza Photography on social media for awhile now, and it was so special to capture the wedding of someone I work so closely with. Their perfect Willow Creek Barn wedding in Frankfort, Indiana left me smiling, sunburnt, and oh-so fulfilled!

From an Instagram DM to an Instagram-worthy wedding at The Willow Creek Barn!

As I mentioned in their engagement post, Miles first reached out to Haley on Instagram! It feels full circle to now have Haley helping me on my Instagram page. I love that Instagram is what first brought them together, and now Haley helps KMP bring even more people together!

It was my first Willow Creek Barn Wedding, and I loved how the venue curated the most effortless and efficient day!

From the minute the day started, it felt like visiting with a friend rather than working a wedding. I grabbed Starbucks along the way, and made sure to get them both a venti coffee – because it was their wedding day after all! When I arrived at The Willow Creek Barn the wedding party was already getting ready or playing yard games outside of the barn. When a day starts with this much fun, we know we are in for a treat!

This was my first Willow Creek Barn wedding, and I loved how the venue curated an effortless schedule and flow. Everything was just steps away, which gave us the gift of more time, photos, and fun throughout the entire day! Mollie and I had ample opportunities for gorgeous portraits, from the willow tree to the barn backgrounds, and even vintage touches like the red couch. We were able to get so much variety in their album as you can see below. Haley even had a list of KMP-favorite poses from seeing so many of our photos on our social media, and she knew she had to have our signature veil shot! I smile when I think about their first look – they had the cutest reaction that left Miles covered in her red lipstick. We quickly found him a kleenex and made sure to remind him to wipe it off throughout the day!

These two had some of the most memorable dances I have seen at weddings! It was such a sweet touch that Haley and Miles had been taking dancing lessons, and their hard work practicing definitely paid off! Their sweet dance instructor even gave them pointers for capturing their dance moves on camera, and our team was so thankful for that touch. Haley and her dad had a first dance that was so “them”. Instead of a traditional father-daughter dance, they actually surprised their wedding guests by memorizing a YouTube video! We smiled and laughed as we captured their dance of remixed songs. I hope to one day see Haley, Miles, or her dad on Dancing With The Stars!
