Casey + Tyler | Engagement Session at Holcomb Gardens in Indianapolis

Casey and Tyler’s wedding will be my second wedding of our 2022 season, and they were also the second couple to book with me after our family’s big cross country move from Charleston to Indianapolis!  So second is the best, right?!  

I am so excited for their wedding at Black Iris Estate in April 2022, but I’m so excited to share with you right now their fall engagement session at Holcomb Gardens in Indianapolis!  

Casey and Tyler were a match made on the court.

At this point, it’s hard to imagine Casey and Tyler without the other, but just a few years ago the sweet couple arrived to play a game of sand volleyball with friends, and left with an extra pep in their step after having met one another.  No matter which team lost, Casey and Tyler had both been love struck and won! 

Fast forward a few years later, Casey and Tyler not only built a house together, but they also welcomed another fur baby to their family and supported each other through their busy careers!  They love to travel, which Tyler’s job often takes them to amazing places after he’s won President’s Club for his company multiple times in a row!  In fact, the couple is going to Italy the day after their wedding, for that exact reason!  Who doesn’t love a free honeymoon, especially one that takes you to romantic Italy! 

Casey slightly knew “it was coming”.  

When both of their families were visiting around Christmas 2020, they went to Newfields to walk around and see the beautiful holiday lights.  They were taking a picture under the mistletoe, when Tyler got down on one knee in front of a line of people waiting to get their own pictures taken as well. He was shaking like a leaf because he was so nervous, which Casey thought was hilarious since she had never seen him like that before!  Afterwards, they went out to eat with their families to celebrate!

Wanting a location with lots of fall foliage, Casey and Tyler decided to have their engagement session at Holcomb Gardens in Indianapolis.

After looking over some options on our private wedding guide, they loved how classic Holcomb Gardens was, and all of the trees that surrounded it and would turn gorgeous fall colors.  Because the leaves didn’t turn until early November this year, we moved their engagement session date several times, waiting for the right time!  I was so excited to finally meet these two at their engagement session at Holcomb Gardens in Indianapolis, since we had only spoke over the phone during their consultation and through email before then!  After getting to spend a few hours with both of them, I can say that I adore them!
