We had our VERY FIRST family photos captured by Katerina Marie Photography at the beginning of April, and am SO glad that we did! Mia was born April of 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic when everything had shut down, and unfortunately the lifestyle newborn photographer that we had lined up to capture our new little family had to cancel. I was SO disappointed, but on the bright side I was glad we could compensate by taking photos with my camera of each other holding Mia girl in her nursery. It wasn’t ideal, but it was the best we could do at the time!
As soon as got settled in Indianapolis after our big move and the spring flowers started to bloom, I made a point to get our first family photo session on the books! We did them at Founders Park in Carmel and are so happy with how they turned out! Our next house project will be hanging them on the walls of our new home here in Indy!
