Last September I had the absolute joy of capturing a Carmel, Indiana baby shower with an enchanting ‘Bonjour Bébé’ theme—and it was nothing short of flawless. Every detail was planned and executed beautifully by an incredible vendor team that I can’t wait to gush about.
Bonjour Bébé! A Perfectly Planned “Carmel, Indiana Baby Shower”
The celebration was orchestrated by Rachel Block Events, who brought every soft pastel, elegant accent, and curated vignette to life with seamless grace. The standout balloon art by Balloon Bar Indy added whimsical, biodegradable charm to each corner of the space. Custom signage from The Door Designs offered a refined, personalized touch to table decor that captured the spirit of the theme perfectly
The dessert table was a work of art. Oh, Hello Cookie Co. created cookies almost too beautiful to eat—with on-theme shapes, soft tones, and meticulous decoration. Complementing them were the dreamy cake and macarons from Filigree Bakery—a lovely, woman- and minority-owned boutique bakery delivering French-style elegance in every bite.
Guests were treated to gourmet fare by Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, whose attention to flavor and presentation impressed everyone. The florals by Iris Lee Mims Floral added a fresh, modern softness as her work always does. The Baby Shower was Hosted at Kassie’s parents’ home in Carmel, Indiana.
Kassie’s mom, also the lovely owner of the iconic local toy store that my own kids adore, Kits and Kaboodle, was a gem of a host. We were all extra glad that the early September weather cooperated beautifully, bathing the day in gentle sunlight and mild temperatures that made outdoor moments absolutely dreamy.
