As a Baby Shower Indianapolis Event Photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most beautifully designed celebrations for growing families. In November, I had the honor of photographing Sarah’s baby shower, a stunning Bonjour Bébé-themed event hosted at the home of her sister, Rachel Block. As an experienced event planner (and someone I’ve worked with on several occasions), Rachel pulled out all the stops to create an unforgettable day for her sister Sarah as she awaited the arrival of her first baby.
From the moment I arrived, every detail of the shower exuded elegance and charm.
Balloon Bar Indy created a dreamy display of soft pastels and neutrals, setting the perfect tone for the celebration. The dessert table was a work of art, featuring a breathtaking cake by local cake artist Natalie Woodruff and beautifully detailed cookies by EA Cookie Co. Each sweet treat was as delicious as it was stunning!
The personalized signage, crafted by the talented team at The Door Design, added a bespoke touch, making the event feel even more special. Lush floral arrangements by Iris Lee Mims adorned the space, bringing warmth and sophistication. And, of course, the catering—provided by one of my all-time favorites, A Cut Above Catering—ensured that guests enjoyed an incredible meal while celebrating Sarah and her little one.
The most touching moment of the day for me as a baby shower Indianapolis event photographer?
When Sarah arrived and saw the love and effort poured into every detail—she was brought to tears! It was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful these moments are, not just for the mom-to-be but for the entire family and circle of friends.Capturing events like this is what I love most—freezing the emotions, the beauty, and the joy of a day filled with love.
