Now before you check out Katelyn and Micah’s photos from their wedding at The Kennedy Estate, let me tell you about how they met and got engaged! Katelyn and Micah had been friends for a few years after mutual friends introduced them, until one evening at a bonfire their relationship sparked to the next level and they began dating. Only about a year after that bonfire, Micah gathered some of their best friends to help pull off an epic proposal!

After hanging out and shopping with her best friend Terra in downtown St. Charles, she led her down an alleyway lit with romantic string lights only to find Micah down on one knee with a ring to ask for her hand in marriage! It was a scene straight out of a Hallmark movie! He hired a photographer to capture the sweet moment too!

Just a few days later Katelyn found me on TikTok and inquired about photography for their wedding at The Kennedy Estate they were planning only six months away! Having recently moved to Indianapolis, I was so happy that I was available for their wedding date! Katelyn and Micah are one of the sweetest couples and I had so much fun capturing this exciting chapter in their lives! Their love for God and each other was the primary focus of their wedding day, just as they dreamt it to be. One of my favorite parts of their wedding day, was when every single friend in their bridal party gave a speech during the reception, showcasing the close friendships that they have formed with so many people. They had several of their favorite bible verses read during the ceremony, that also made its way into their wedding album! The forecast on their wedding day called for rain (and an invasion of cicadas) but by the grace of God, we had none of these!
