I’m the type of person who sees a ton of different ideas on Pinterest and the internet, and has a hard time making it all work together to create a unique design. I’m also very indecisive, so I knew that in order to put on a show stopping styled shoot, I needed some design help! When I came to Lexi and Shelby with Becoming Designs Events with the idea for a styled shoot to represent upcoming wedding trends for different seasons, they had so many amazing ideas! I was blown away by the color palettes for each station, the different textures and the overall gorgeousness of the mood boards, I was eager to find out how everything would really turn out!
Oh my goodness, did it turn out! Everything about his styled shoot was a dream, and I’m just so happy with the results!
For the summer and spring stations, the initial ideas were so similar that we decided to just combine it into one station.
The colors for this station ranged from various shades of light pink, coral, light yellow and mauve! Oh my heart- this station was by far my favorite simply because deep down I just love a good pop of color. These colors were soft, yet still bright enough to scream a gorgeous spring and summer wedding! The gorgeous floating ceremony arch was the perfect backdrop for bride and groom portraits in the chapel at Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana! Classic cakes made the most amazing three tiered wedding cake that was way too pretty to eat, while the soft lace and tulle dress from Sophia’s Bridal was fit for the sweet vibe we were going for!
For the fall station, I knew I wanted to utilize some sort of orange, and the girls from Becoming Designs Events came to my rescue once again!
Besides the rust orange that was sprinkled all around this station, the other thing I loved was the contrast that the black tableware provided among the rest of the colors and with my brighter editing style! You don’t see black tableware at weddings often, so it was a nice breath of fresh air to do something a little different!! Beckah was the most gorgeous bride! Her hair and makeup by Black Swan Beauty was simply perfection, and from a photographer’s perspective, I especially loved how their work accentuated her gorgeous green eyes! Also, the invitation suite that Sam with The Lettering Grove handmade was simply unbelievable! I just loved all of the different textures she used for the suite and the tablescape, especially the leather! Brides, if you’re getting married this fall, I hope this styled shoot at Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana can provide some inspiration for you!
Last but not least, the most elegant winter wedding tablescape that you’ve ever seen!
First and foremost, we had two of the most stunning brides that truly set the stage for this station! Lindsey wore a fitted silk gown with spaghetti straps and a tulle veil with fun polka dots, while Mallory wore a fluffy and flowy gown. Both gowns were also from Sophia’s Bridal! We used various shades of white and cream, from white chiavari chairs that we rented from A Classic Party Rental, and mixing modern tableware and candle holders with elegant crystal glasses and florals. The Lettering Grove did it yet again, with gorgeous linen menu cards and a welcome sign, as well as beautiful name cards with handcrafted calligraphy! I could go on and on about her gorgeous works of art, and this whole station, for that matter!
Thank you so much to all the amazing vendors that collaborated with us for this incredible styled shoot at The Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana!
