My friend Lauren welcomed her newest addition, Ms. Amelia, to her adorable family! You may recognize Lauren – she’s the proud owner of Pure Barre in Carmel and Zionsville and I captured their branding photos for her and her team earlier this year! I was so excited to capture their Newborn Photography in Indianapolis, Indiana within the first few weeks of her being born! There’s nothing like newborn snuggles (and let’s be honest- the newborn smell!), and I’m so excited to share this session with you today on the blog!
Lauren, her husband and big sister Avery welcomed their newest family member Amelia in September!
When I arrived to capture newborn photography in Indianapolis, Indiana, Lauren and her family were ready to roll! The girls were dressed in the cutest outfits from our favorite local children’s boutique Hey Little Diddle. Their clothes always look great on camera because they are neutral enough and have subtle texture and interest. Avery proudly showed me around their home and her adorable room, and I could tell she was so excited to be a big sister!
During their newborn photography session, we always include several photos of the whole family together as well!
Baby Amelia of course got many close-ups during her session, and we also captured the candid and raw moments of Avery and her parents loving up on baby Amelia. These moments captured on camera often become family favorites. We even caught a few sweet yawns, and her tiny toes! The girls did an outfit change, and then we headed to their family room to get photos of the whole family. Everyone had coordinating mom, dad, and big sister shirts! I loved getting to capture them snuggled up on the couch together. Thank goodness for Cocomelon, who helped keep Avery from getting too wiggly! I was so honored to capture newborn photography in Indianapolis, Indiana for this adorable family!
