I was so excited to head back to Charleston, South Carolina this year to photograph yet another wedding! This time it was at the Firefly Distillery with Jessica and Joshua, whom I hadn’t even had a chance to meet yet due to COVID postponing their original wedding date and then they moved all the way across the country to the middle of Alaska!
Jessica and Joshua are both in the military, and although COVID had other plans for their original wedding celebration, they still got married in the middle of their kitchen on the original date by a close friend. They postponed their wedding to April 23rd, the day before their one year wedding anniversary, and to say it was a party is would definitely be an understatement! They were both so grateful to have finally been able to celebrate their love story with their closest friends and family, most of whom they both hadn’t been able to see for months due to the pandemic and travel restrictions. Their wedding day was filled with so much love, it was definitely one for the books! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Haskins, I’m so glad you finally got the wedding day you SO deserve!
A huge thank you to the wonderful and talented vendor team!
