His stunning blue nursery was a dream come true, designed by the family’s neighbor, a talented designer who recently relocated from North Carolina. With a grand millennial flair, this nursery was the kind of space you just want to soak in: layered blue patterns, a cozy window seat, thoughtful textures, and heirloom-style cross-stitched art made this room an absolute showstopper. You spend months thoughtfully curating every detail—choosing colors, sourcing artwork, folding tiny onesies—and it becomes a space that represents both your excitement and your love for this new season of life. It’s often the most carefully planned room in the house, and capturing you with your baby in that meaningful space adds a layer of storytelling that studio sessions just can’t replicate.
Beyond the nursery, the rest of the home was just as inspiring. This beautiful older home was filled with charm and character, decorated with a seamless mix of timeless and modern pieces. Gorgeous natural light poured through the windows, creating the soft, glowy look I always aim for. It was the perfect spot for photos, and the setting will make these images even more meaningful when they look back on them years later.
