Abby and Spencer know how to put on a party! We had the best time at their Fort Wayne, Indiana wedding weekend, and we loved how they made this celebration their own. Abby and Spencer chose to have their wedding at a private residence, which gave them full control of the experience. They could not have done it without Suzanne of Simply Sparrow, and I was so glad to have been the one to photograph it all!
Spencer knew he was going to marry Abby the day he met her!
Abby and Spencer met at IU during IU’s Little 500 bike race week. The same day Spencer met Abby, he told all of his friends he would marry her! The word got back to Abby, and she thought he was absolutely crazy. But, just a few months later, they started dating and the rest was history. They got engaged on a romantic evening hike, complete with a charcuterie board and champagne! Does it get any better than that?!

Did you know we offer this wedding weekend add-on? I love getting the chance to capture the rehearsal dinner for some pre wedding photos! Both the bride and groom are typically more relaxed, and even better, it gives me a chance to meet everyone before the big day. It helps everyone feel more comfortable and the photos are natural and full of joy! Their rehearsal dinner was at Ruth Chris Steakhouse and then we continued the fun at The Hoppy Gnome, a local Fort Wayne, Indiana favorite!
Abby and Spencer had chosen a venue for their Fort Wayne, Indiana Wedding, but they quickly changed their mind after discovering Rambler Events!
Sometimes vendors completely make the wedding day, and Rambler Events from Nashville, Tennessee was one of them! After Abby and Spencer discovered Rambler Events, they changed their entire wedding plans- and it was so worth it. They cooked an incredible 5 course meal over an open fire. It was truly delicious, and the care that went into every detail was enjoyed by all of their guests!
I loved how this showcased Abby and Spencer’s appreciation for quality and fresh food, as well as gave the guests a truly unique and unforgettable experience! Rambler Events is not exclusive just to Fort Wayne, Indiana Weddings – they travel all over the country!

Since they were getting married at a Spencer’s family residence, Abby and Spencer chose to get ready at a new local boutique hotel – The Bradley Hotel in Downtown Fort Wayne! It was so cute, and the photos turned out so well from the gorgeous hotel interior.
Abby had a clean slate for their wedding, as they got married in Spencer’s family backyard. Abby spent her wedding week creating incredible ceiling decor filled with greenery, butterflies, and florals for the tented reception. She put so much hard work into this evening! Suzanne from Simply Sparrow served as their day of coordinator, so Abby could finally relax and enjoy the fruits of her hard work. Suzanne did an incredible job of pulling it all together, and making the couple feel so stress free!
