Julianne and Brian’s wedding was themed “under the stars” but these two were the real stars! Their day was filled with heirloom details, a ballroom dance, and touching speeches. The love between these two is so contagious – they just could not wait to make it official! This Montage wedding is one that I will not forget!
Julianne and Brian knew right away that they were meant to be – their love and loved ones were the true stars of their Montage Indianapolis wedding!
Like I mentioned in their engagement post, Julianne and Brian are just perfect for each other. Julianne is well organized and thoroughly planned while Brian is more laid back. They know exactly what each other needs, and are so in sync! They share so many of the same hobbies and interests – my favorite insert from their speeches was that they discovered that they both keep board games in their car because you never know when you’ll need one! Like I said – they are just the perfect match!
Brain proposed with a star machine while playing “their song”, and they continued the star theme into their wedding day planning! Their loved ones tossed stars down the aisle to light the way, and there were sweet touches of stars all night long. Julianne and Brian included so many heirlooms during their day to include the loved ones no longer with us – flowers from Julianne’s mom’s wedding, her great grandmother’s shoes from 1920, and so much more. This wedding was so “them”, and the images we capture prove it!
Julianne, a competitive ballroom dancer, made sure they had the perfect first dance!
Julianne is a long time ballroom dancer, and Brian was the most patient student! Their guests were touched by their first dance, and Julianne even changed into a ballroom dress specifically designed for their wedding reception. Julianne taught Brian some moves and their dance was so good! The KMP team even captured this unforgettable moment and their dancing photos were some of my favorites.
The Montage was a great venue for this May wedding day!
Despite the day being a little cloudy and rainy, the wedding went off without a hitch due to this lovely venue! The Montage allowed our team to easily float between the ceremony space, getting ready room, and the reception space so we could capture every moment. We were sad that the weather didn’t cooperate for night photos under the stars, but we did capture romantic rainy night photos with our favorite clear bubble umbrella! Thanks to this gorgeous venue, we got plenty of great photos inside and outside! This was the first Kaitlin Mendoza Photography wedding at the Montage, and we can’t wait to be back soon!
