This Holcomb Gardens family session features the beautiful Brokke family! This was the first time they got photos as a crew of four, and these memories are so special. Family sessions are so important for capturing kids at different milestones, and thanks to our associate team, I’ve had more time to add more family sessions to my schedule during the week again!
The Brokke Family are new to Indianapolis and just moved from Salt Lake City!
Shortly after they moved to Indianapolis, Amber found me on Google and called me to book a family session. As we chatted over the phone, we hit it off right away and it wasn’t too long ago that I was in her same shoes, as my family and I moved from Charleston to Indianapolis only a year and a half ago! It turns out Amber’s daughter, Reese, is the same age as my daughter Mia, so I immediately invited her to a Moms of Preschoolers playdate. A few weeks later, we finally got to meet in person, and our kids have been playing together every week since! It’s such a special friendship, and I’m so glad that Google led us together!
I was so excited to finally get to capture the Brokke family at their Holcomb Gardens family session.
Photoshoots with small children are always so crazy and so fun – and this one was no exception! Here at KMP, we try our best to get everyone to look at the camera for a good family photo, but truly our main goal is to capture the genuine love between your family! Reese (2) and Colin (8 months) did a great job during their session. I made sure to snap photos of Reese running away, making silly faces, and smiling, because these are truly the moments that they will want to remember! Amber was convinced that we didn’t get any good shots, but I assured her that amid the chaotic moments, special ones were captured!

The next day the Brokke Family got their sneak peeks and were so happy to see how their photos turned out! I was so excited to capture this session for my friends, and share the hidden gem that Holcomb Gardens is for family sessions. Welcome to Indianapolis, Brokke family!
