What happens when you’ve driven a few hours to your engagement session and it begins to downpour? Romantic rainy engagement session! When Lyndsey and Alex arrived to Coxhall Gardens for the first part of their engagement session, we initially thought we were going to have to reschedule! But when we looked at the radar and it seemed it was going to pass and had already driven so far, they were up for the challenge! We used the clear bubble umbrellas that I brought, and created pure magic! I’m thrilled with how their engagement photos turned out, and I can’t wait for you to see!
Their Love Story
Lyndsey and Alex met in law school at Valparaiso University and at first they spent a lot of time studying together, but their relationship quickly grew into more than friends! When Alex made the move to propose, it was New Years Eve and they were at a party with all of their friends. It was just like in the movies, where everyone was counting down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…. And when Lyndsey turned around to kiss Alex, he was down on one knee! Lyndsey was so surprised and obviously excited, and her friends were there to capture candid photos and video of the whole thing!
Their engagement photos in Carmel, Indiana were so fun and romantic!
Lyndsey and Alex live in Northern Indiana, so when they were already on their way to Indianapolis and we saw there was a high chance of rain, they decided to chance it! When though it was pouring rain when we parked at our first location, Coxhall Gardens, we utilized the one covered area and our trusty clear bubble umbrellas and managed to capture some romance in the rain! Luckily by the time we got to our second location, The Palladium in Carmel, the rain came to a stop! From now on, I may think twice when rescheduling a session due to rain, because this rainy session was perfect! What do you think?!
Congratulations Lyndsey and Alex!
