The Skupin’s fall family photos in Indianapolis at the 100 Acre Woods was nothing short of magical. Even though the leaves were beyond their vibrant transformation, the backdrop provided by the late fall foliage was simply breathtaking, especially at this location! One of the reasons why I adore this location at 100 acre woods at Virginia Fairbanks Art and Nature Park is its versatility.
The tall grasses, gravel pathways, and serene pond offer a ton of picturesque settings within a small area. This meant less stress for the family I’m photographing, especially with little ones in tow, as we could explore various backdrops without straying too far.
Despite the inevitable energy of a rambunctious toddler, we managed to capture beautiful moments of the entire family looking at the camera, which is often the toughest part with little ones! The joy and love radiating from each candid and posed shot truly encapsulated how this tight-knit family really is together.

As the session progressed, we transitioned into celebrating a special milestone: the first birthday of Little Margo. It’s always heartwarming to witness the babies I photograph and their growth from the tiny newborn. I loved capturing her first birthday milestone during their fall family photos in Indianapolis amidst the stunning autumn scenery and sunset!
