Dana + Cory’s | Magnolia Plantation Wedding in Charleston

March 25, 2021

Have you ever felt like you were living in a fairy tale? Because that’s how every moment of Dana and Cory’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation felt! Rain was in the forecast the entire week leading up to their wedding day, but the weather God’s pulled through and brought the most perfect warm and sunny February day! If you’ve been to Magnolia Plantation, you know what I mean when I say there is a jaw dropping backdrop everywhere you turn. From the gorgeous golden light poking perfectly through the Spanish moss and the sprawling live oak trees, to the historic buildings and the tranquil Ashely River, everything about this venue is simply the best. We were so glad the wonderful staff at Magnolia escorted us around the plantation in a golf cart to make sure to hit all the best spots for their bride and groom portraits!

But besides all of that, it was obvious that Dana and Cory were simply just so excited to be married! After all, they had been together for several years, waiting for this day through the long grueling years of law school and military training, and now that they were settled into their first home, they were more than ready to tie the knot. Their two pups River and Dozer even made an appearance for some photos cause ya know, you gotta have the whole family! Dana and Cory, it was such an honor to capture your perfect lowcountry wedding. Thanks for giving me yet another excuse to come back and visit the place we used to call home. It was a dream!

Thank you so much to the amazing team of vendors who helped make this day possible!
